Service Description

The Rite of Passage Package is our most popular option. This is for our families who have already worked extensively with their synagogue and already have the religious aspects under control. However, they want help with most of the planning of the reception and usually want to do the site/vendor visits, tastings, and fittings on their own to keep their overall costs down. This leaves more time for the planners to spend time working their magic into all the details of the celebratory bash! It is a full-service planning package, capturing most of the services we offer – design and planning of the Bar or Bat Mitzvah celebration and one associated event (such as Shabbat Dinner, Kiddush, or Sunday brunch, etc.). Day-of-coordination for the mitzvah is also included. For the Rite of Passage design, planning, and coordination experience, packages begin at $2,800. The Rite of Passage Package is appropriate for a relatively elaborate mitzvah, requiring a reasonable amount of planning time and/or a celebration with a moderate number of invited guests. Typically, the planner will spend approximately 35 hours planning a mitzvah for the family who chooses this package.
